Jordan Hall and the Jeannette Jayhawks

Ohio State running back/defensive back recruit Jordan Hall and the Jeannette Jayhawks defeated McGuffey yesterday in their 5th win for the season and their 22nd win in a row. This was the tightest game of the year for the Jawhawks as they beat the Highlanders 27-13 Friday night in McGuffey’s stadium.

By Steve Patterson

Jeannette had won their first three games of the season by over a 40 point margin and beat Charleroi last weekend 36-7 in the WPIAL Class AA Interstate Conference. Hall said after the game that it was a tough game as others have been this season. “We played pretty good. Every team is giving us their best shot because we are defending the title.” He said. “We played McGuffey yesterday. They played us pretty tough, they were the best team we faced so far.” he added.

With last year’s star of Jeannette High playing quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes as a freshman, Hall has visited Ohio Stadium to see Terrelle Pryor in action. “I’ve been up for a game. I plan on coming to more.” He told us about his future plans.

One of the things that impresses Hall most about Ohio Stadium is the atmosphere and the enthusiasm of Ohio State fans for the games. “I think the atmosphere is great! All the people really love and support the Buckeyes.” Those same fans are looking forward to seeing the young Jayhawk play for the Buckeyes in 2009.
