plus one playoff system are the excuses that some of the participants are
giving for refusing to even put it up for a vote. According to John Swofford (commissioner of
the ACC and BCS coordinator) only the SEC and ACC representatives wanted to

NCAA released its multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) report today with
great fanfare. Michelle Brutlag Hosick
of the NCAA News published an article on the success of the NCAA's Academic
Performance Program (APP) saying The APP “is creating positive behavioral
change among Division I institutions, according to new four-year data released
May 6.” That is both correct and misleading.

 This class is filling up early with great talent from around the mid-west. They will look to finish off strong with some highly ranked players from Florida and other more distance football hot beds. Beating a fourth place national finish in 2008 will be difficult for the 2009 class but the class will be bigger which always pushing up the national ranking.
