OSU Blankets Michigan Offense

In a sleeper of a game that Michigan didn't show up for except one drive when they went into a hurry offense, the Ohio State defense dominated a beaten up Michigan team.

By Steve Patterson

Chris Wells: Most rushing yards by an Ohio State running back in OSU vs. Michigan history. Scored the two touchdowns for the Buckeyes and put the game away with one run after another in the second half.

Ray Small: Had a great touchdown punt return to open up the 2nd half of play for Ohio State which was called back due to penalty.

Marcus Freeman: Continued to prove he's one of the best linebackers in the country with 8 solo tackles and 9 total in The Game. Hopefully he comes back next year for his fifth year on campus and his fourth year of eligibility.

Vernon Gholston: The Michigan product was trouble all day long for both Wolverine offensive tackles. Had 4 tackles for loss for 21 yards and 3 sacks for 20 yards on the day.
