Ohio State 2007 Review: The Big Finish
Most of the preseason magazines had the 2007 Buckeyes rated
third in the Big Ten behind Michigan and Wisconsin and somewhere
in the middle of the pack in the Top 25.
Nobody argued the preseason prediction as OSU was replacing 13 juniors
and seniors including their starting running back, both starting wide receivers
and Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Troy Smith. However, things did have a positive outlook
for the Buckeye nation as a light preseason schedule coupled with a weak Big
Ten gave hopes to many of earning another conference title and a trip to the
Rose Bowl.
