If the Jags cut Matt Jones, It will be Their Fault not His

If the Jags cut Matt Jones, It will be Their Fault not His

Why does every NFL coach believe that an athlete playing quarterback with a scud missile launcher for an arm (great velocity with absolutely no concept of where it will land) will become the next Jerry Rice at wide receiver?

Editorial: ESPN needs to learn replay technique from the NFL Network

If you have ever been up at 3 AM to watch the replay of an ESPN college game you missed, not only do you need a sleep aid, you wasted your time.  It isn't often that the new rookie on the team is better than the grizzled veteran, but when it comes to football replays, ESPN college football can't hold the NFL Network's jock---video tape.

Editorial: Is it time for the NFL to Marge Shott the Brown Family?

One thing you learn in business school is never do business with a widow or an idiot son.  The Cincinnati Bengals have so many law violators that they must use the no-huddle offense because a felon can not be within 20 feet of another felon.  Their draft choices over the last 15 seasons have been a joke.  As proof, I need only to bring up the name of Akili Smith the supposed quarterback drafted with the 3rd pick in the 1999 draft.

Belichick risked his Reputation on Questionable Information

A reputation is the hardest thing to build and the easiest thing to lose.  NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has bet his on the word of Bill Belichick, a proven cheater and suspected liar.  By closing the book on SpyGate, Goodell has in effect accepted the word of Belichick that those games that the league has seen tapes on (including those that the league destroyed) were the only ones that were taped.

Why Mike Martz wears out his Welcome so Quickly

My Dad is a pretty smart guy.  One lesson he taught me early on was if you can't be part of the solution, at least try not to be part of the problem.  When it comes to placing a QB at risk in an offense, Mike Martz is definitely part of the problem.
